Common Questions

Everything people ask before they order.

If your question isn't answered here, the fastest route is still a direct message — we read every one ourselves.

Do you sell in small quantities, or only bulk?
Both. Most of our produce and crop orders are sized for wholesalers and processors, but we also fill smaller standing orders for restaurants, markets and regular local buyers. Tell us the quantity you need and we'll confirm what's realistic.
How far in advance should I place a bulk crop order?
For maize, cassava and rice, ideally 4–6 weeks before you need delivery — that lets us confirm quantity against what's actually maturing in the field rather than promising stock we don't have yet. Produce and livestock orders can usually be filled with less notice.
Do you deliver, or is pickup required?
We deliver within Benue State for most orders. For buyers further out, we can usually arrange pickup at the farm or connect you with a haulage contact we've worked with before — just raise it when you get in touch.
Can I visit the farm before placing an order?
Yes — we welcome visits from serious buyers, especially for larger livestock or produce orders. Farm hours are Monday to Saturday, 7am to 6pm. Reach out ahead of time so we can make sure someone's free to walk you through it.
Do you offer farm-planning consultation to other growers?
We do. Fifteen seasons of rainfall, soil and yield records have taught us a fair amount, and we share that with other growers in the valley — planting-season planning, soil rest cycles, and setting up a herd calendar for smallholders.
How do you decide what to plant each season?
We cross-reference our running almanac — rainfall logs, soil pH readings and past yield data — against what the market is likely to want by harvest time. It's less about the calendar date and more about what the land and the records are actually telling us.
Do you keep records on livestock health?
Yes. Feeding, grazing and health records are kept for our goats, poultry and cattle, and are available on request for buyers who want that visibility before placing a livestock order.
What's the best way to reach you?
Email or the contact form for anything detailed — we reply within one working day. For urgent, time-sensitive orders, a phone call during farm hours is fastest.
